Don’t let a flat battery ruin your adventure
We’ve all been there – sitting up late listening to podcasts, playing games, sharing photos on Instagram of our latest adventures or just chatting with friends online. You fall asleep and forget to plug your phone in.
You wake up and find you’ve got 15% battery to last the day, that’s annoying at the best of times but when you’re about to embark on a hike, climb a mountain or any sort of adventure it’s a nightmare.
It’s irritating when you’re in the middle of a beautiful landscape and you want to take photos or videos and you can’t because you trying to conserve your last 5% of power. Those may be #firstworldproblems but there is a serious side too – it’s potentially dangerous to be off on an adventure with no way to call for help or pull up a map if you get lost. (Hint – always take a paper map too if you’re headed off the beaten track!)
Power when you need it
This month we’re giving away a Goal Zero Flip 10 Phone charger which once charged itself – will give your phone an extra full charge (between 60-100%) and can also charge your other USB devices too, action cameras, camping lights, GPS etc..
Simply charge up the Flip 10 and pop it in your ruck sack – when your device starts getting low battery just plug it into the Flip 10 and your device will start charging. This is particularly great if you’re away for more than a couple of days and don’t have any access to a plug.
